ResearchMy research is part of Stormwise, a forest vegetation management program with the goal of reducing the risk of tree-related storm damage to power lines, while maintaining the cultural value of the wooded landscape.
Focusing on the human dimensions of natural resources, I am using social science to help understand public attitudes toward roadside utility vegetation management. I am using spatial analysis to see how attitudes vary based on where people are geographically located within the landscape. |
